Fresh cases of coronavirus reported in Mohali; total number of cases in Punjab 45

The total number of cases in Punjab has increased to 45 after three new positive cases were reported from Mohali on Wednesday. According to the information, two of them are the resident of Phase 9, Mohali, while one of them is from Jagatpura, the civil surgeon reported. For now, Mohali has reported 10 confirmed coronavirus cases. Earlier, a 72-year-old female, Surinder Kaur, tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Ludhiana. Reportedly, she is a neighbour of Pooja, a 42-year-old woman who died in Ludhiana due to coronavirus on Monday. Luckily, Pooja's daughter has tested negative for the pandemic.‬

Death toll in Punjab

The death toll in Punjab stands at 4. First, a man, Baldev Singh, who died due to heart attack in Nawanshahr, was tested positive for the coronavirus. Second, a man identified as Harbhajan Singh, a resident of Hoshiarpur passed away in a hospital in Amritsar. Third, a 42-year-old Pooja passed away earlier this week. Doctor and Nurse test positive in Chandigarh

Chandigarh has reported fresh cases of COVID 19 on Tuesday taking the total number of coronavirus cases to 15 in the Union Territory. A 31-year-old male nurse and a 40-year-old Doctor were tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
