Jawaharpur village in Derabassi reports new case of COVID-19; Mohali count 65

The total number of coronavirus cases in Mohali has increased to 65 after Jawaharpur village in Derabassi reported two fresh cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. While giving the information, the DC Mohali Girish Dayalan said that one of them is a 47-year-old man, who is a brother of Jawaharpur village Sarpanch. According to the information, he was earlier tested negative for the novel coronavirus. However, he along with 5 others was tested again and his result came out positive while the others were tested negative. The total number of cases in the district stands at 64 out of while 27 have been cured and discharged while two have died. The other is a 60-year-old patient whose family is already positive.

5 patients defeat COVID-19 in Mohali

The Mohali district is on the road to normalcy. On Monday, 5 coronavirus patients were discharged from a hospital. This was disclosed by the Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan. He stated that two patients belong to village Jawaharpur, two others belong to Mohali City and one is from Mundi Kharar.
