Coronavirus: Hoshiarpur reports another positive case; total number of cases in Punjab 47

Hoshiarpur reported a fresh case of coronavirus on Thursday. According to the information, the man has been identified as Harjinder Singh. Meanwhile, Punjab has reported 47 cases so far out of which 5 people have died. On Thursday morning, Former Hazuri Raghi of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa died due to coronavirus. He was admitted to a hospital in Amritsar where he was put on a ventilator after his health condition was found critical. The risk factor increased due to his issues of bronchial asthma. Earlier on Wednesday, five cases of COVID 19 were reported from the state. 3 of them were reported from Mohali and one each from Ludhiana and Amritsar. The state reported its first death in the form of Baldev Singh, who died due to heart attack in Nawanshahr, later tested positive for the pandemic. Coronavirus Himachal : Govt to Start Control Room The second death was reported when, a man identified as Harbhajan Singh, a resident of Hoshiarpur passed away in a hospital in Amritsar. Then, a 65-year-old man who tested positive for COVID-19 in Nayangaon, Mohali, passed away due to coronavirus. Haryana reported its first death due to the pandemic on Thursday after a 67-year-old man, a resident of Ambala Cantonment died due to coronavirus at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He has been identified as Harjit Singh Kohli. -PTC News
