News of complete lockdown in India again from June 15 is FAKE!

While India is announcing relaxations on restrictions imposed during the lockdown, there is an image circulating on social media that says there could be a complete lockdown again after June 15. In a news graphic, it is stated that "Home Ministry hints at complete lockdown again after June 15. Train Services and Flights to be suspended." Soon after the graphic went viral on social media, the panic-like situation took place. There were speculations that this could happen as the coronavirus cases in India are increasing. Immediately, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs took to Twitter and stated that the circulated image is Fake and that the people should beware of misleading such photos that spread fake news. https://twitter.com/PIBFactCheck/status/1270641032909123585?s=20 It wrote: "Claim: In a photo being circulated on social media, it is claimed that the complete lockdown can be implemented in the country again from June 15 with the ban on train and air travel by the Ministry of Home Affairs. PIB Fact Check: This is Fake. Beware of such misleading photos spreading fake news." Amritsar reports another Covid-19 death Similarly, the news channel, whose name was used on the graphic, clarified by taking to Twitter and wrote that the graphic doesn't belong to them and that it was fake news. However, the Central government on May 31 announced that the nationwide lockdown has been extended in containment zones and that the night curfew will be implemented across the nation.
