Chandigarh reports a new case; the total number of cases now stands at 8

A fresh case has been reported from Chandigarh on Friday taking the total number of cases to 8. According to the information, the man has a travel history of Dubai. Meanwhile, his contacts are being traced. Meanwhile, the Advisor of the Chandigarh Administration said in a tweet that "Bad news, one new corona positive case in Chandigarh. Dubai returned. Symptoms detection on the 15th day.Unusual... Tracing his contacts ..All will be quarantined."

Coronavirus in Punjab

After new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID 19) were reported from Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, and Mohali on Friday, the total number of positive cases in Punjab has increased to 38. Out of these, one patient has recovered in Amritsar. According to the information, Hoshiarpur has reported 5 confirmed coronavirus cases, while Jalandhar reported 5 and Mohali reported 6 cases so far. Likewise, Nawanshahr reported 19 cases, while one from Ludhiana and the rest of the cases from Amritsar. So far, Punjab has recorded just one death. A man, identified as Baldev Singh, had died in Nawanshahr earlier this month. According to the information, he had diagnosed over a dozen people. Meanwhile, in an order to avoid the further spread of the pandemic, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced a complete lockdown and curfew in the state while Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a complete lockdown in India. United Kingdom PM Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus

Boris Johnson on Friday took to Twitter and wrote: "Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this."
