India reported 380 deaths and 19,459 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, as of Monday morning. The total number of coronavirus cases in India has gone up to 5,48,318 including 2,10,120 active cases, 3,21,723 cured and discharged and 16,475 deaths, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday. The BSF stated that in the last 24 hours, 21 more Border Security Force (BSF) personnel tested positive for COVID-19 and 18 have recovered. There are 305 active cases and 655 personnel have recovered till date. Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that the total number of samples tested up to June 28 is 83,98,362 of which 1,70,560 samples were tested on Sunday. As per the Aarogya Setu app, a total of 12,010 patients were declared cured in the last 24 hours. Of 380 new deaths, Maharashtra reported 156 deaths, Delhi reported 65, Tamil Nadu 54, Gujarat 19, Uttar Pradesh 11, West Bengal 10, Rajasthan 8, Telangana 4, Haryana 5, Andhra Pradesh 12, Karnataka 16, Madhya Pradesh 7, Punjab 5, Odisha 3 and 1 each from Bihar, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Goa.
