New Delhi, July 1: The prices of cooking gas cylinders has been slashed in various parts of India with the effect from July 1, Friday. The rates of Indane gas cylinders declined by ₹198 in the national capital Delhi. The rate of LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹182 in Kolkata, ₹190.50 in Mumbai, while it has been reduced by ₹187 in Chennai. Earlier, 19kg commercial LPG cylinder costs for Rs 2219, will now cost for Rs 2021. The move of reduction in price comes after a rate cut in commercial cylinder prices last month. However, as mentioned earlier, the price of a 14.2-kg domestic cooking cylinder has remained unchanged. The price of a domestic LPG cylinder was hiked to Rs 1,003 in Delhi last month — which was the second consecutive increase in one month. A monthly comparison of LPG gas price in New Delhi:
