Chandigarh, August 29: The first edition of the recently launched Chandigarh Golf League is all set to kick off on September 21st. Going by the high pitch at the player auctions, the league is all set to deliver an incredible five weeks of golf, strategies, entertainment and ROI to all invested stakeholders. The Punjab Aces team, owned jointly by Yuvraj Bhupinder singh, Zorawar Singh and one of India's top professional golfer Gaganjeet Bullar kicked off its campaign with a team launch dinner hosted by the Wyndham Mohali Club. The Punjab Aces team will be managed by Padamjit Sandhu with strong sports and professional leagues / league teams’ management exposure, and HS Kang one of India's top Amateur players. Punjab Aces has brought on board two top certified coaches in Chandigarh, Tavleen Batra and Sahir Singh, to work with the players for the league. The team has 18 players, two coaches, and three mentors in Gaganjeet Bhullar, HS Kang & Gurmeet Johal, and is looking strong to be in contention for the Title. The team was briefed by the management on the details and format of play, and a broad strategy on player pairings once the final draw of the league is announced. Over the next three weeks, the Punjab Aces will spend time together to understand each player's strengths to optimize on the pool of players available for each match once the league kicks off.
