Chandigarh administration announces reopening of schools, details inside

Amid a decline in coronavirus cases, the Chandigarh Administration on Tuesday announced the reopening of schools in the city. During the War Room Meeting, it was decided that the schools in Chandigarh will start functioning physically from July 19, 2021, for Classes 9 to 12 subject to parents’ consent for sending their wards to the schools. The coaching institutes will be allowed to function physically from July 19, 2021, with the condition that all the eligible students and staff are administered at least one dose of vaccine and the covid protocols are strictly followed in the institutes.
