Centre postpones 10th round of talks with protesting farmers

Centre Farmers Meeting: Amid farmers protest against farm laws 2020, the Central government on Monday postponed the 10th round of meeting between farmers and Centre which was, earlier, scheduled to be held on January 19. Now, as per the order issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the 10th round of meeting between the Centre and farmers would be held on January 20 at 2:00 pm at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, on next round of meeting, said that "We've come here with full preparations, we're not leaving anytime soon. We know that it (resolution of farmer protest) would not happen tomorrow. It (talks) might drag further for a month or two."
