Canada shooting: In a shocking incident, a man was dead and a woman was injured in a daylight shooting in Brampton on Wednesday evening, Peel police said. According to the police, three suspects fled the spot in a vehicle that was reportedly found on fire, with no one inside, about seven kilometres away. The burning vehicle was found in the area of Grenoble Boulevard and Williams Parkway. "We believe the vehicle is connected to the shooting," Const. Donna Maurice, the spokesperson for Peel Regional Police, said on Wednesday. The man was declared dead while the woman was taken to a local hospital in non-life-threatening condition. The identification of the victims was yet to be ascertained.
