Prasar Bharati, RailTel and PlayboxTV launch economical 'Freedom Plan' on Railwire Broadband
The services in this 'Freedom Plan' offer 30 Mbps high-speed internet, 10 OTT platforms (including WAVES), 400+ live TV channels, and 200+ games—all at just ₹299/month.
PTC News Desk: Prasar Bharati in partnership with RailTel Corporation of India, and PlayboxTV have launched the 'Freedom Plan' on Railwire broadband. The initiative was introduced in the in the presence of Aamir Mulani, Founder & CEO of PlayboxTV; Sanjai Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel; and Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO of Prasar Bharati.
The services in this 'Freedom Plan' offer 30 Mbps high-speed internet, 10 OTT platforms (including WAVES), 400 live TV channels, and 200 games—all at just ₹299/month. In the access to OTT platforms, users can also enjoy their classics like Mahabharat, Ramayan, Shaktiman, and Fauji, along with new, exciting family-oriented shows.
The plan is designed in a certain way which can make high-speed internet and entertainment content accessible to tier 2 and 3 cities and rural regions and other areas deprived of these facilities.

Prasar Bharati’s WAVES OTT platform built in association with RailTel offers a mix of games, e-books, family TV shows and movies. This OTT platform is available across all the devices including iOS and Android.
