Gold prices hit record high of Rs 61,490 per 10 grams on the MCX on Thursday, reflecting a rise in international bullion prices.
On the MCX at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June gold futures were trading Rs 432, or 0.71% higher, at Rs 61,397 per 10 grams. Around the same time, July silver futures were trading at Rs 77,450, up Rs 868 or 1.13%.

International gold prices reached a lifetime high of $2081.80 per troy ounce earlier today.
The gold rates have risen by approximately 12% so far in 2023.
The yellow metal's price is likely to rise even more, providing investors with 10-15% profits in FY24, according to experts.
