BSF arrests one Pakistani national from Punjab's Gurdaspur border
Gurdaspur (Punjab): Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrested one Pakistani national from the Gurdaspur sector in Punjab on Sunday. According to the BSF, a cellphone and Pakistani currency worth Rs 1,650 were recovered from his possession during the search. The arrested Pakistani national is being interrogated. According to information, the drone was coming from the Pakistan side of the Kasowal border outpost in Gurdaspur. The BSF personnel spotted the drone and opened fire at it, firing five rounds. Likewise, the drone returned to the Pakistan side of the border. Meanwhile, the BSF personnel and security agencies started search operations in the area to see if the drone has dropped any objectionable items or weapons. According to BSF, the drone was made in China and entered the Indian territory from the Pakistan side. The drone that was a hexacopter was flying low and it was detected and captured at a distance of approximately 300 metre from the International Border and 150 metre from the Border Security fence. -PTC News
