Bharuch (Gujarat), April 11: As many as six workers were killed in a blast that triggered a fire in a chemical factory in the Bharuch district of Gujarat on Monday, officials informed. The blast took place at around 3 am in the unit located in Dahej industrial area. The six individuals who were killed in the incident were working near a reactor, which suddenly blew off during the solvent distillation process, informed the Bharuch Superintendent of Police, Leena Patil. The bodies were later recovered and sent for postmortem. The fire was also brought under control," she added. The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and sent for postmortem.
