Chandigarh, October 17: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann turned 49 on Monday.
From standup-comedian to politician, Bhagwant Mann became Chief Minister of Punjab and landslide victory in Punjab. Mann won the Dhuri seat with a margin of 58,206 votes. He has seen a meteoric rise in his political career, debuting in 2011 and making it to the CM's post in the state in a span of 11 years.

CM Mann celebrated his 49th birthday by dropping his childhood picture on his Twitter handle, standing in the middle of his parents and sporting a white turban.
In the meantime, several political leaders extended their warm wishes and greetings on Mann’s birthday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on his birthday.
“Birthday wishes to Punjab CM Shri Bhagwant Mann Ji. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” Modi said in a tweet.
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal also took to his Twitter account and dropped a very cute picture with a caption wishing Bhagwant Mann on his birthday. He wrote, "A very happy birthday to my younger brother and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann ji. May God give you a healthy life, a long life and more strength to serve the people of Punjab."
Meanwhile, several AAP leaders and cabinet ministers have also greeted Mann on his birthday.
Punjab cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer tweeted, "Birthday wishes to the beloved leader of Punjabis @BhagwantMann."
Meanwhile, Mann kick started his political journey in 2011 by joining the People's Party of Punjab.
