Australian cricket star Shane Warne died of natural causes, says autopsy

Bangkok, March 7: Australian cricket star Shane Warne died of natural causes, says his autopsy report shared by the Thailand police. A statement issued by deputy national police spokesperson Kissana Pathanacharoen said the doctor who conducted the autopsy said Shane Warne's died of natural causes. This had been conveyed to Australian cricket star's family and the Australian Embassy. It is learnt that the family did not have any doubt that the 52-year-old cricketer died of natural causes. Preliminary evaluations from the Thai authorities suggested Shane Warne died of a heart attack. His body was taken to the Thai mainland for autopsy. There was no immediate information about when Warne’s body would be sent home to Australia. On the day of his death, Australian cricket legend Shane Warne had paid tributes to former Australia wicketkeeper Rod Marsh, who died at the age of 74 in Adelaide — eight days after suffering a heart attack while on his way to a charity event in Queensland.
