Amritsar : Students lock gate over absence of staff
Nearly 200 students and their parents today locked the Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School at Nabipur village in Amritsar in protest against the absence of staff in School.
The parents said, “the situation has been going on for the past several years. The authorities concerned were not taking any action against the teachers. Due to which, students and parents decided to act today”
Earlier similar situation prevailed in another Adarsh school located in Gurdaspur district at Bhikhariwal.
