Akasa Air's data breach: Akasa Air experienced a massive data breach affecting the personal data of its passengers, the Indian domestic airliner informed the team of the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) on Sunday. Akasa Air stated that it notified the CERT-In that passenger information such as name, gender, phone number, and email address had been leaked. "This is to inform you that a temporary technical configuration error related to our login and sign-up service was reported on Thursday, August 25, 2022," Akasa Air stated. It did, however, state that no confidential information about the passengers, such as travel records or payment information, was disclosed as a result of the data breach.
