Rumours circulating on social media about me contesting elections, upsets me a lot. Please don’t believe these rumour mongers, my heart aches when I hear people speak baselessly about me and my deceased son who's pyre has not doused yet. I would like to extend heartfelt gratitude towards all of them, who stood by our family’s side in such difficult times. Sidhu’s ‘Bhog’ is on June 8, I request you all to attend the ceremony, where would share his thoughts with those present.”
