4 terror suspects nabbed in Haryana's Karnal; large cache of explosives seized
Karnal (Haryana), May 5: Haryana Police on Thursday arrested four terror suspects following the inputs from the Punjab Police. The police also discovered a large cache of explosives.
The suspects have been identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep, Parminder, and Bhupinder from Punjab.
According to reports, four terror suspects were detained by Karnal police on Thursday while travelling in a Toyota Innova SUV from the Bastara toll plaza in this district.
The police have seized three IEDs packed in a metallic case (2.5 kg each) and one pistol along with 21 live cartridges. According to security personnel, the weapon consignment had been delivered to them via drones.
“The weapons were air-dropped using a drone by Khalistani terrorist Harjinder Singh Zinda from Pakistan in Ferozepur district,” an official informed the media.

Talking about the incident, SP Karnal said, "on credible intelligence input, 4 terror suspects including three belonging to Ferozepur and one from Ludhiana detained near Bastara toll plaza."
"Explosives were recovered from them along with other arms and ammunition. Accused identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep Parminder and Bhupinder," he added.
"The accused were in touch with a Pak-based man who asked them to drop arms & ammunition at Adilabad, Telangana. Accused Gurpreet received explosives sent from across the border using a drone in Ferozepur dist. Earlier, they dropped explosives at Nanded. FIR registered," informed SP Karnal.
