Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 1,914; death toll 32

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1914 after 37 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Tuesday evening. The death toll in the state has increased to 32 after a new death was reported from Amritsar. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Jalandhar reported 9 new cases while Ludhiana reported 16 new cases of coronavirus. Fatehgarh Sahib reported 8 new cases of coronavirus while Patiala, Fazilka, Amritsar, Kapurthala reported 1 new case each. Amritsar is on the top of the tally with 297 cases followed by Jalandhar at 197, Tarn Taran at 158, Ludhiana at 143. Gurdaspur has reported 122 cases of coronavirus while SBS Nagar has 103 cases. India's tally of coronavirus cases reached 70,756 | Hindi News Mohali has 102 COVID-19 cases while Patiala has reported 99 cases. Hoshiarpur reported 91 cases. Sangrur stands at 88 while Muktsar stands at 65. A total of 59 cases have been reported from Moga, 56 from Ropar, 55 from Fatehgarh Sahib. Bathinda has reported 40 cases. Mansa has recorded 32 cases of coronavirus, while 29 cases have been reported from Pathankot, 26 from Kapurthala, 21 from Barnala. Meanwhile, 1711 are active cases while 171 people have been cured and discharged. -PTC News
