Amid PM Modi's rally in Punjab, Channi's chopper denied permission to take off
Amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed rally in Punjab's Jalandhar, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's chopper was on Monday denied permission to take off from Chandigarh due to security reasons. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was scheduled to attend Rahul Gandhi's rally in Jalandhar. CM Channi's helicopter was not given permission to fly from Chandigarh. Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi was scheduled to attend the election program with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who has already reached Hoshiarpur. Later, he was given permission at around 2 pm after which he departed for Sujanpur. According to information, CM Channi’s tentative program was to take off from Chandigarh for Rahul Gandhi's rally in Hoshiarpur. Later, he had to attend a rally at Hoshiarpur with Rahul Gandhi at 11:45 am. He was also scheduled to attend a public meeting at Sujanpur, Jalandhar Cantt. Earlier in the day, PM Narendra Modi addressed a public rally at Kanpur Dehat. He said, "The 'Parivaarwadi' will again be defeated by the people of Uttar Pradesh. The festival of colors- Holi will be celebrated in Uttar Pradesh on 10th March itself." "When they keep changing their allies, then how will they serve the people of Uttar Pradesh?...
