Airtel Down: Airtel faces brief outage due to a ‘glitch’
New Delhi: Airtel users across India faced a brief outage due to a 'technical glitch' on Friday, the telecom operator confirmed as per the report.
Soon after the Airtel outage emerged, the problem was fixed shortly. Meanwhile, several users complained about the Airtel networks on social media.

The issue had an impact on both broadband and cellular users, as per the user reports that emerged on social media. The reports suggested that its impact was on a pan-India basis.
Reportedly, an Airtel spokesperson said that the services were fully restored shortly after fixing the technical glitch.
The spokesperson said that the Internet services were briefly disrupted this morning following a technical glitch. However, the issue was successfully restored shortly.
A large number of users took to Twitter to raise their complaints and started tweeting using the hashtag #AirtelDown. While the users were facing the outage, the Airtel app and customer care service were also inaccessible to some users.
"No service since 5 hours. Have tried all the possible troubleshooting, yet no change in the issue. Is it only me or anyone else facing this issue? What should one do at this point?" a user wrote.
"No broadband connection, no mobile network, and unable to use Airtel app for logging ticket. An early start to weekend" wrote another. A user said, "Was #AirtelDown all over India? Been trying to connect, with kids online classes also down. Surprisingly the hotspot also didn’t work in my case. Anyone else experienced this?"
