Accused were paid for Mohali blast: Sources
Mohali, May 24: Two weeks after the grenade attack on Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Sector 77, Mohali on May 9, two men have been identified to carry out the attack in exchange of money, sources stated. According to the sources, accused of Mohali Intelligence RPG attack were paid large amount for carrying out carried the attack. One of them is from Jhajjar in Haryana and the other from Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh. The duo had carried out the incident along with Charat Singh. The three attackers are still out of police custody. The DGP had earlier stated that the Babbar Khalsa International Group was behind the attack. It may be recalled that DGP VK Bhawra Punjab had made major revelations regarding the Mohali Intelligence blast. The main ringleaders in the attack were identified as Lakhbir Singh Landa and Harwinder Singh Rinda of Tarn Taran. Meanwhile, Lakhbir Singh Landa has been in Canada since 2017 and has already been charged with several counts of extortion and threatening people.
