AAP MLA Kuljit Randhawa's PA accused of demanding bribe
Chandigarh, August 4: Aam Aadmi Party's district trade union joint secretary Vikram Dhawan has accused his party MLA's PA for seeking bribe from a chowki in-charge. He lodged a complaint in this regard on the anti-corruption helpline number issued by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Vikram Dhawan, a resident of Ward No-4 Baltana, alleged that when Barma Singh was in charge of Baltana Chowki, one of his cases was going on in the police station.

Meanwhile, Barma Singh has been removed from the post and transferred to the Zirakpur police station. When Vikram called Barma Singh to inquire about his case, he said Nitin Luthra, PA of his party MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa, had asked for a bribe of
Rs 1 lakh and when he could not pay the money, he was transferred.
Vikram claimed that he had audio recording of this conversation, which he had sent as evidence to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with his complaint. Vikram also claimed that he has other documents related to this case, which he would produce when the time comes.

Notably, the audio is also going viral on social media. Vikram Dhawan also feared threat to his life.
Meanwhile, talking to PTC News, Derabassi MLA Kuljeet Randhawa described the allegation as baseless. He said if these allegations were proved, he would himself initiate action against the PA.
