The UT Police has nabbed the three accused in the snatching of Rs 6. 25 lakh from the owner of the famous eatery in the region Gopal Sweets.
Sharanjeet Singh, who came out along with his guard, was about to get into his car when three miscreant approached him and snatched the bag on Tuesday night in Sector 8 market of Chandigarh.
The three miscreants were Activa-born, one of them threw chilli powder at Sharanjit and the guard, and then snatched his bag and fled away with others, who waited for him a short distance away.
The incident occurred in the backyard of Gopal Sweets in Sector 8, Chandigarh. An FIR was registered subsequently in Sector 3 Police Station of Chandigarh.
