2 Jaipur engineers arrested for taking bribe
Two government engineers were arrested on Thursday for taking bribes from a civil contractor in Jaipur.

The accused has been identified as Mahaveer Jain, Executive engineer and Prakash Bhanawat were working with the state Agriculture Marketing Board. They accepted the bribe of Rs Rs 34,500 and Rs 1,09,500 respectively to clear a construction bill of Rs 17 lakh.

They were arrested from Salumbar town. Following which, a case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
