Water supply in certain sectors of Chandigarh will be affected for two days
Water supply Chandigarh will be affected for two days: Due to the urgent repair of a pipeline near the Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Sector 30, water supply in certain sectors in the city will be affected for two days.
The Water supply Chandigarh, to Sectors 1 to 11, 19, 20-A, 20-B, 26, 27, 28, 29-A and 29-B, Industrial Area Phase-I, Modern Complex and Mani Majra will be hit.
Water will be supplied at normal pressure from 4 am to 8 am on January 10 and at low pressure from 6 pm to 8 pm. On January 11, water will be supplied at normal pressure from 4 am to 8 am. On normal days, water is supplied till 9 in the morning.
MC officials have asked residents of the affected areas to store water as per their requirement.
