WATCH | Oil tanker overturns, catches fire in Himachal's Una, 1 killed
PTC News Desk: An oil tanker overturned and caught fire in Himachal Pradesh's Una on Sunday, killing one person and injuring eight others, according to officials.
According to the state emergency operation centre, the incident occurred in Tahliwala Kaswa village in the Haroli area of Una, damaging 15 shops and several vehicles. The fire has been brought under control.

The accident occurred when the diesel-filled tanker's brakes failed, and it overturned in the market. The vehicle then caught fire and also crushed several vehicles, including a scooter. This resulted in the death of the scooter rider. The deceased has been identified as Subash Chander, a Punjab resident, according to officials.

One of the eight injured is in critical condition and has been referred to Regional Hospital Una for treatment.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri who is the local MLA expressed his grief over the incident and said that officials from the administration are on the scene to provide relief.
Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, also visited the area and sought information about the incident's cause. He consoled bereaved families and those injured.
