Charanjit Singh Chadha viral video case: lookout notice issued: The city police have issued a lookout circular of the absconding former president of Chief Khalsa Diwan, Charanjit Singh Chadha this evening.
Police Commissioner SS Srivastav said necessary instructions had been passed in this regard.
In the meantime, another video has gone viral on social media in which he was spotted in a gurdwara complex, wearing a coat while a kar sewa vehicle is also in the video. Special Investigation Team was looking into the matter, police commissioner said.
Charanjit Singh Chadda and his son Inderbir Singh Chadda were booked by the local police after a complaint was lodged by a woman principal of a school run by the charitable society following a video went viral in which he was allegedly sexually harassing her.
Chadha had refused to step down following the allegations of sexual abuse and its viral video.
While Inderbir Singh Chadda got interim bail from the court which asked him to join the probe, Charanjit Singh is still absconding.
