Davesh Moudgil becomes the mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation after defeating Congress's Mayor candidate Devendra Singh Babla by 22 votes. Devesh Moudgil is a former MP and a close aide of leader Satya Pal Jain.
While Gurpreet Dhillon becomes the Senior Deputy Mayor and Vinod Aggarwal takes the position of Deputy Mayor for Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.
